When was the last time that you did a search on your name or the name of your business?
Put your business name into each of the major search engines and see what comes up. Hopefully you will see links to pages on your
website. You may also notice links to maps (Google) or links to some of the consumer review sites like: Yelp.com, CitySearch.com or JudysBook.com.
Take time to read what these site have to say about your business. If people are talking about your business you
need know about it and reply with your own comments to both good and bad reviews.
Remember "Customer Service is King." If you do not take good care of your customers, someone else will. Also, see if you can check your business profile on these sites to be sure that the information is correct.
When looking for customer reviews of businesses, use the business name plus the word "review". This will often bring up sites that contain customer reviews of a business allowing you to see what other have to say. You should search your business name and the word "review" to see what comes up. Hopefully it will all be good.
You can also check out your competition to help you better understand your industry.
